Our Story:
The Hole "N" One Golf Club was born in 1998 from a shared passion for golf and a deep commitment to community giving. A group of dedicated individuals came together, aiming to leverage their love for the game to generate funds for various charitable causes.
Early club meetings were held at Smith’s Restaurant in Shannon, MS, in members' homes, and eventually at Red Oak M. B. Church. During these formative sessions, the club elected its first officers and established its foundational guidelines.
Initially, with members primarily from the Tupelo and Shannon areas and no dedicated home course, the club fairly rotated play across various local golf courses. From its inception, the club made contributions to local charities and supported scholarships.
Over time, Big Oaks Golf Course became the club's home. The annual golf tournament emerged as the organization's flagship event, sustained by the generous support of sponsors, donors, and the Lee County Community. A significant portion of these tournament proceeds is dedicated to charitable donations. While early efforts supported prostate cancer and sickle cell research, the Sister Network of Tupelo, MS (an affiliate of Sister Network, Inc.) was later adopted as the club's primary beneficiary.
